Fitzroy Synth-punk legends Primitive Calcuators recently released a 7″ on Canada’s Sweet Rot Records, featuring three different versions of their signature track Pumping Ugly Muscle – one a previously unreleased rehearsal recording from 1979, one a reunion-era live version from 2009, and one a cover version by Brisbane gloom-punks Slug Guts.
Now Prim Calcs and Slug Guts are teaming up to launch the single in Melbourne at the Tote Hotel on Thursday April 14, with support from Lost Animal and Repairs.
